If you’re still hugging the edges of the map hoping no one spots you, you’re missing what Arc Raiders is all about. I used to play like that, sneaking around while the bold players scooped up every decent drop, but it hits you eventually – playing aggressive isn’t just for show, it’s how you win. You’ve got to flip the script and start hunting instead of hiding, turn slow looters into walking jackpots. That shift happens once you’ve got the confidence to push fights, and the right gear from ARC Raiders Items can make that change way smoother.

<h3>Gear That Keeps You Deadly and Fast</h3>
Your build is everything in PvP. Heavy shields? Forget them. They&rsquo;ll slow you to a crawl, and speed is what saves you here. I&rsquo;ve been running a medium shield with the Combat Mk. 3 augment &ndash; keeps you nimble but still able to take a couple of hits. For mid-range fights, the Bettina AR with recoil stabilizer is king. When you get up close, swap to the Bobcat SMG. It&rsquo;s got almost no recoil and will melt an opponent before they know what&rsquo;s hitting them. Always pack stims, too. Being able to heal while moving can get you out alive when you&rsquo;re badly outnumbered.

<h3>Movement That Keeps You Alive</h3>
It&rsquo;s wild how much of a gap there is in movement skill right now. Most players run in straight lines &ndash; easy pickings. The ones at the top are constantly sliding, dodging, swapping weapons mid-action, and never standing still long enough to get lined up in someone&rsquo;s scope. One of my favourite tricks is hopping into a slide and swapping guns before I land &ndash; it throws off aim tracking. I set my dodge roll to a side mouse button so I can chain a slide-roll-peek around cover without lifting my finger off aim.

<h3>Playing Smarter and Dirtier</h3>
If you break someone&rsquo;s shield, don&rsquo;t give them breathing room &ndash; chase them down hard. The environment&rsquo;s a weapon too. Drop a Snitch Core near a camping squad and watch ARC machines drop in to cause chaos. And keep control over the map with traps &ndash; a Jolt Mine at the bottom of a zipline is practically a kill waiting to happen when someone lands.



The unlock grind can be a drag, especially if all you want to do is get into fights. Cutting that grind by picking up gear through cheap ARC Raiders BluePrint means you can focus on actually improving your play instead of scraping together loot.
